Westwood IV Therapy × Rev'd Foxboro — May 16, 2026 In Honor of Mental Health Awareness Month

Self-care has a branding problem. It's been reduced to bubble baths and face masks — when really, it's the unglamorous stuff that moves the needle: hydration, movement, sleep, connection. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and it's a good time to talk about what actually works. That's why we're partnering with Rev'd Foxboro on Saturday, May 16th for a Wellness Pop-Up that brings movement, community, and IV vitamin therapy under one roof. No pressure, no expectations, just an invitation to do something good for yourself.
Partnership In Support Of Mental Health Awareness Month
Rev'd Foxboro is more than a fitness studio. It's a community space built around movement that lifts your mood, your energy, and your sense of belonging. Their team understands that showing up, even for 45 minutes, can shift an entire day. Westwood IV Therapy brings a complementary side of wellness: nurse-led IV hydration and vitamin support designed to replenish what your body needs to function at its best. Together, we're offering a snapshot of what whole-person self-care can look like, strength on the bike, support in the bloodstream, and connection in the room.
The Mind-Body Link: A Little Light Science
You don't need to be a clinician to feel the connection between how your body is cared for and how your mind feels. A few well-studied examples:
Movement and mood: Regular exercise is consistently linked to reduced symptoms of anxiety and depression, in part because it supports the release of endorphins and helps regulate stress hormones.
Hydration and cognition: Even mild dehydration can affect concentration, mood, and energy. Your brain is roughly 75% water — keeping it hydrated supports clearer thinking and emotional regulation.
B vitamins and the nervous system: B12 plays a role in nerve function, energy production, and the synthesis of mood-related neurotransmitters. Deficiencies are linked to fatigue and low mood.
Community and belonging: Showing up alongside other people — in a class, at an event, in any shared space — is one of the most consistent predictors of long-term mental wellness.
This is not a substitute for mental health care. It serves as a reminder that taking care of your body is a significant aspect of caring for your mind.

Mental Health Matters
Mental health doesn't always announce itself. Sometimes it shows up as fatigue you can't shake, a foggy week, or a feeling of running on empty. Choosing to move, to hydrate, to rest, and connect are real, actionable ways to support your nervous system and your mood. Self-care isn't a luxury. It's fundamental. And it looks different for everyone.
On May 16, we hope you'll join us whether that means clipping into a Rev'd class, registering for a treatment, or just stopping in to say hello and see what we're about.
